I can definitely rock out to this. It's certainly a lot more aggressive than most of your other works that I listened to, but I wouldn't really call it "in your face." I usually hate the distorted bass you have going on in most of your pieces, but it's so appropriate in this one, I can't knock it that much. It still sounds like it could have been cleaned up a little more, though.

OcularNebula responds:

certainly could have been

I'm not actually sure if this piece is any good, it seems like there are many sound compatibility issues

I wonder which other pieces you think have too much of a distorted bass? if you were to drop a quick message in my inbox about that, it'd be super swell, but anyway, thanks for the review!

Dude, I can rock to this all night. Especially those panned drum fills. Oh, lawdy.

Listened to your earlier version. It's definitely a lot more full now. You've made something already awesome even better. Definitely favoriting this.

deliverance84 responds:

Thanks a lot man! :)

Hey, don't talk shit about sines. X-Files theme, bro. You gotta show your respect to all of the basic waves. Great mix, though.

OcularNebula responds:

you're right, I was a bit too quick to slander the sines

after all, they are basically the building blocks of all waveforms, isn't that right? (someone please for the love of GOD correct me if I'm wrong)

Are you kidding? I spend two hours laboring over a decent sounding kick and then I hear this shit, and I'm like, "What the fuck am I doing with my life?" Yes, you should make a full track out of this.

DetiousMusic responds:

HAHAHA, that's some funny shit right dur. It's only cause I had some of the synths laid out already.. It was mostly the arrangement that I was working on.. But thank you :D

Question: was that a filtered sample or an instrument on the low end? Very experimental. Sounds like you have a very bizarre imagination. Keep at it.

universalart responds:

LOL I do have a very Odd and quite Beautiful imagination :) no it was not filtered just concisely placed teehee ;) Thank you very much!

I don't understand the low score.

Maybe it's a little too basic, but I still enjoyed it. It also loops, which is uncommon for a 2 minute song. It kept it from getting stale, though.

yeajimmiboi responds:

Thanks man =]

Looks promising!

I'm assuming you're going to add more melodies to spice it up. You should really throw a little reverb in the drums and equalize them. This makes them sound more realistic and less sampled.

Also, experiment with panning and stereo sound. Having all your instruments in one place is rather boring.

You just need to mix it well. Hopefully you'll garner a lot more attention next time because it still sounds really nice!

ForeverJustTonight responds:

Thanks for the review man! We will take everything you said into consideration :D

Hooray Vocals!

This is an amazingly catchy tune! Both you and Hersh have obvious vocal talent. I hope you guys continue to use it to the fullest extent. For some reason, the background vocals remind me of the Doug cartoon I watched when I was a wee lad.

This loops nicely too, but that feels intentional. Nice work!

seatellite responds:

thank you very much (:

-_-

I always enjoy a good tune that encourages people to run around and skip like faggots. /smileyface

It is a nice piece. Quite uplifting. The tambourine and bells are especially nice. Bells are the most badass instrument ever. Anyone who disagrees is a loooooser.

blackattackbitch responds:

lol thanks dude, I love it when my music brings out a person's gay side hahaha
